Even the toughest locks eventually wear out from years of daily use. Internal springs snap, brass housings corrode from the elements, and older locks become highly vulnerable to bypass techniques. When a thumb latch starts to stick, a deadbolt requires aggressive jiggling, or the finish severely tarnishes, your home suffers in both security and curb appeal. Patching failing hardware is a gamble you cannot afford to take. We are Sellersville, PA’s specialists in residential hardware upgrades. From executing a heavy-duty door lock replacement to installing a beautiful new handleset, we ensure your entryways function flawlessly and look exceptional.

Your front door is your property's handshake. Upgrading to a modern, sweeping handleset drastically improves your home's aesthetics. When performing a front door handle replacement, precision alignment is critical. We ensure the cross-bore and edge-bore holes in your door perfectly accommodate the new tubular latch mechanism. We use specialized jigs to drill the precise through-holes for the bottom of the handleset, ensuring the hardware mounts perfectly plumb, straight, and flush against the door surface.
Many homes feature Grade 3 builder-grade deadbolts made of hollow pot metal. When executing a front door lock replacement, we strongly recommend upgrading to ANSI Grade 1 or Grade 2 hardware. These premium locks feature solid brass cylinders, anti-drill steel ball bearings, and hardened steel bolts that resist sawing. More importantly, we address the door jamb. We install reinforced strike plates using three-inch steel screws that bite directly into the wall studs, transferring the violent force of a kick-in attack away from the fragile door frame and into the structural framing of the house.
Upgrading your security means entering the digital age. We expertly install electronic keypad deadbolts and Wi-Fi-enabled smart locks. The secret to a long-lasting smart lock is absolute alignment. We meticulously calibrate the motor throw to ensure the deadbolt glides effortlessly into the strike plate, which prevents the severe battery drain and motor burnout that is incredibly common with amateur DIY smart lock installations.

Sellersville was founded in the early 18th century. It was centered on a major road known as Bethlehem Pike that connected Philadelphia to Bethlehem and the rest of what was then far Western Pennsylvania. The town was very small and was called Sellers Tavern. Its most notable feature was a large inn. The present Washington House in Sellersville, however, was not Sellers Tavern. The town grew slowly over the years until the Industrial Revolution. In the 1860s the North Pennsylvania Railroad was built, running parallel to Bethlehem Pike: this stimulated the growth of light textile industries and brought a wave of population growth. The East Branch of the Perkiomen Creek runs through the town which connects it to an adjacent town of Perkasie. This creek was dammed in the early 20th century creating a small body of water known as Lake Lenape. Along the length of the lake a park was built on Perkasie and Sellersville lands. In the 1920s and 1930s this park housed a carousel, a roller coaster and several other amusements. The railroad brought hundreds of people from Philadelphia in the summer time, and it became a well known vacation spot for blue collar city workers.
